Background: Over 18 years Information Technology (IT) experience, working for both, DoD and commercial organizations. Program Manager and Chief Architect on various programs, including the MOD Skynet 4 UKMSCS Management Tools (UMT), AF ESC Software Technologies Initiative (STI) and DISA JIEO Systems Engineering (JSE) programs.  Recent roles and responsibilities combined technical leadership and program management supporting the development, application and adoption of advanced software technology for various DoD. Developed CARDS Partnerships into a $2M/year business area, as program manager and technical lead.  Presently Chief Technologist for the USAF STI Program ($50M), the "umbrella program" encompassing CARDS, STARS, NSDIR, PSM and the Partnerships.  As Chief Architect for JSE Joint Technical Architecture (JTA) Support task,  developed and coordinated the DoD JTA Ver. 2.0.  Worked as a Systems & Software Engineer, supporting multiple lifecycle phases and releases of the 5ESS for AT&T Bell Labs. As Adjunct Professor at IIT, taught Software Engineering, Ada, Formal Methods, and related graduate courses. Involved with the evolution of Ada83 and Ada95 since the mid '80s, as well as various IEEE and ACM professional organizations. Chaired numerous conferences, panels and workshops, and served on various Federal and DoD Advisory Boards. Widely published in the areas of Software Engineering, Process Engineering, Domain Engineering, Ada  and Software Architectures.
