Banner Ads
Deluxe banner ads are located in the header frame and are always visible to our viewers - thereby providing maximum advertising coverage at a very affordable price. A maximum of ten (10) deluxe full-banners are permitted. These banners are rotated through on a regular basis (approximately every twelve (12) seconds), ensuring that your ad gets seen dozens of time during the average site visit. And if not all the "viewing time slots" are purchased, then ads are duplicated*1 providing even more display time.
Deluxe half-banner ads are also available on the header frame. Up to twenty (20) deluxe half-banner ads are permitted--two side-by-side placements are cycled through approximately every twelve (12) seconds. And like the full-banner deluxe ads, if not all the "viewing time slots" are purchased, then the ads are duplicated.
Each month we provide a report via email indicating how many viewings your ad(s) have received, and how many times people have clicked-through to your site. We'll also provide a summary report of how many visitors we had during the reporting period. We want to demonstrate to you the effectiveness of your placement with us and the visibility you're receiving. We're one of the few portal sites that provide such feedback.
Banner ads can be either animated files (gif or jpeg) or static images. Let us know if you are interested in Macromedia Flash animations. If there is a sufficient demand, we will consider using the technology, as it is becoming more widely used by surfers.
