A Good Picture Of Flossing Teeth In Prevention Of Periodontal Disease
In case you do not know how to floss your teeth, here's a good picture on how to use a dental floss to remove plaque build up that can cause periodontal disease. First, take about 20 inches of dental floss, then in one hand, wind it around your middle finger, winding the rest of it around the middle finger in the other hand. Work on with flossing by holding the floss tightly and gently slip it in between teeth with a back and forth movement until the gum is reached. And around one of the adjacent teeth, curve the floss and slide it back and forth moving it toward the tooth's biting edge so that debris can be removed. Again continue flossing by curving the floss around another tooth with the same motion. Floss each tooth in turns until you have reached the innermost side of the last tooth. Consult your dentist if you are not confident and sure with your flossing techniques. Flossing is a great way to prevent the development of periodontal disease.
